Manufactured by Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., the MMA7455L 3-Axis Digital Output Accelerometer is a low power, a micro-machined sensor capable of measuring acceleration along its X, Y, and Z axes.
MMA7455L device can be easily configured to detect quick motion pulses as single-taps, double-taps, and 0g (free-fall) conditions on any or all axis and provides configurable interrupt pins (INT1 and INT2) for each type of event.
An onboard voltage regulator and I/O voltage level shifters make this module especially easy to connect.
Possible applications include:
- motion sensing
- event recorder
- vibration monitoring
All I²C Mini Modules are designed to operate at 5VDC. Using a convenient 4-Pin plug, devices can be daisy-chained onto the I²C Bus, eliminating the need for soldering. Simply plug together the devices you need for your next automation application.
Pull-up resistors are included with all dcubestore.com master devices. If you are wiring in your own I²C port, on-board 4.7K jumper-selectable pull-up resistors are available for convenience purposes.
FREE I2C cable included.
This is a general purpose I²C device compatible with all computing platforms, including Raspberry Pi, Beaglbone, Arduino, Particle, BridgeX5, and much more. All dcubestore.com devices support a strict +5V I²C Bus standard.
