Product Description

The TCS3472 device provides a digital return of RGB and clear light sensing values.




The high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and IR-blocking filter makes the TCS3472 an ideal color sensor solution for use under varying lighting conditions.
The TCS3472 color sensor has a wide range of applications which includes RGB LED backlight control, solid-state lighting, health/fitness products, industrial process controls and medical diagnostic equipment.

In addition to the I²C bus, the TCS3472 provides a separate interrupt signal output. When interrupts are enabled, and user-defined thresholds are exceeded, the active-low interrupt is asserted and remains asserted until it is cleared by the controller.

All I²C Mini Modules are designed to operate at 5VDC. Using a convenient 4-Pin plug, devices can be daisy-chained onto the I²C Bus, eliminating the need for soldering. Simply plug together the devices you need for your next automation application.

Pull-up resistors are included with all dcubestore.com master devices. If you are wiring in your own I²C port, onboard 4.7K jumper-selectable pull-up resistors are available for convenience purposes.
